About The Position

Will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and monitoring institutional strategies aimed at strengthening licensure examination (Board Exam) outcomes in Nursing programs, ensuring compliance with academic quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in clinical education through high-fidelity simulation, in alignment with the mission, vision, and strategic objectives of Northbridge University.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a role or concentration in Education, Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience or certifications in clinical simulation, including related training or coursework.
  • Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license or Specialist Nurse license, as applicable.
  • Active membership in the Puerto Rico College of Nursing Professionals (CPEPR), in compliance with Law 82.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in higher education, preferably in Nursing programs.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory compliance requirements applicable to academic Nursing programs.
  • Experience in the use, coordination, or supervision of clinical simulation laboratories.
  • Proficiency in technological tools and academic data analysis systems.
  • Availability to work from corporate offices and travel as required by institutional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate institutional academic strategies to improve licensure examination outcomes in Nursing.
  • Analyze data and performance trends related to the licensure examination and prepare executive reports with evidence-based recommendations.
  • Coordinate and integrate high-fidelity clinical simulation methodologies aligned with licensure examination competencies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and accreditation requirements applicable to Nursing programs.
  • Collaborate with Deans, Program Directors, and Faculty to strengthen curriculum and academic plans of study.
  • Develop continuous improvement plans and monitor their implementation.
  • Support institutional evaluation processes, accreditations, and audits.
  • Design and facilitate training sessions and workshops for Faculty and Academic Staff.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of licensure and simulation initiatives.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and best practices in Nursing education.
  • Ensure the standardization of academic practices at the institutional level.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
