About The Position

The position is primarily responsible for having a highly developed and trusted network with C-Suite execs of mid-market and larger corporate companies with the goal of introducing them to our organization. A high-level understanding of business issues and opportunities along with the ability to develop strong relationships are key, as is an inquisitive mindset to probe for opportunities to help solve client pain-points and communicate the benefits of Savills' capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Innovative self-starter with the ability to think on your feet, overcome objections, and negotiate collaboratively
  • Relevant sector experience - financial, operations, healthcare, industrial, sales, marketing and business development
  • Experience (preferable) or knowledge of typical commercial real estate solutions
  • Skill in prioritizing and triaging contacts and follow-up obligations
  • Thrives in a team-based culture, and celebrates team achievements over individual contributions
  • Attention to detail, excellent time management, organization, and presentation skills
  • Ability to utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or sales software, such as Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Identify highest / best client profiles
  • Develop new relationships with targeted prospective companies
  • Pitch Savills capabilities and people
  • Maintain relationships with existing partners and customers to enable referrals, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Research targeted organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Collaborate with teammates to identify pursuit vectors and evaluate best-fit opportunities to win the assignment
  • Research the needs of targeted companies and learn who makes decisions about purchasing our services.
  • Work closely with the service-delivery side of the business to ensure appropriate hand-offs and maintain a high level of continuity through engagement completion
  • Coordinate speaking opportunities for Savills subject matter experts and take a visible leadership role in relevant conferences, meetings, and events that are frequented by our ideal clients
  • Work with the BD team to select and edit collateral material for presentations and post-meeting follow-up
  • Other duties as assigned
