About The Position

We are looking for an experienced lunch services coordinator to join our APMEX team! Days: Monday-Friday Hours: 9a-5pm Overtime opportunities available due to adding a new second shift Hours may vary depending on business needs/events This position will be responsible for the daily food preparation, maintenance, and clean-up of our company provided lunch within our cafeteria. Day in the life of an APMEX Lunch Coordinator... Create weekly lunch menus to be used by both shifts Post weekly lunch menus the week prior to providing services Create and submit food orders for weekly lunch offerings Submit invoices for food orders Prep and prepare lunch items according to menu specifications Setup of food preparations prior to lunch hours. This consists of stocking food to the appropriate food station as required Restocking of supplies (plates, cups, utensils, etc.…) to the appropriate station as required Restocking of food items throughout the lunch period for 100-400 people Wrapping and storage of certain unused food products for future use Cleaning and put-away of all food related storage equipment and supplies upon completion of lunch Receiving of food products, and supplies from food provider (5 times per week) Daily inventory recording of all items within the cafeteria in order to prevent out of stocks Wipe down and disinfecting of all cafeteria related equipment APMEX is a multibillion-dollar ecommerce company that is the leader in Precious Metals. Requirements

  • High School or GED required
  • Experience working within a cafeteria setting preferred (corporate, school or large events) required

Responsibilities

  • Create weekly lunch menus to be used by both shifts
  • Post weekly lunch menus the week prior to providing services
  • Create and submit food orders for weekly lunch offerings
  • Submit invoices for food orders
  • Prep and prepare lunch items according to menu specifications
  • Setup of food preparations prior to lunch hours. This consists of stocking food to the appropriate food station as required
  • Restocking of supplies (plates, cups, utensils, etc.…) to the appropriate station as required
  • Restocking of food items throughout the lunch period for 100-400 people
  • Wrapping and storage of certain unused food products for future use
