Atlantic Union’s Summer Internship program is a professional development opportunity for local students to gain practical work experience, helping students become better prepared to enter into the financial industry post-graduation. Students have the ability to build professional networks, and receive training and mentoring throughout the program. Atlantic Union’s Wealth Management Intern Program is designed to give college students an introduction into wealth management. It is our intent to give the Intern real assignments. Assignments that stretch the Intern, provide the Intern with valuable experience, and allow the Intern to contribute to the Wealth Management Department. Position Accountabilities The Intern is provided assignments that include all areas of wealth management such as financial planning, trust operations, portfolio management, and trust administration. The intern will have the opportunity to: Perform investment research Review of investment portfolio strategy. Shadow and assist with the preparation of a financial plan. Shadow and perform system conversion work. Shadow and assist with trust administration work and estate planning.
