Role Summary As a Data Analytics Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting analytics initiatives that help the bank understand customer behaviors, sales performance, and market opportunities. Working alongside data and retail sales teams, you’ll analyze data, build reports, and develop insights that guide strategic decisions and enhance customer experiences. This internship offers a unique opportunity to strengthen your technical, analytical, and communication skills in a dynamic, real-world banking environment.

  • Collect and organize sales and customer data to identify performance drivers and business trends.
  • Support the creation of dashboards and data visualizations that communicate insights to sales leaders and business partners.
  • Contribute to reporting on retail branch performance, product sales, and customer engagement metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the effectiveness of sales initiatives and campaigns.
  • Test and validate data sets or models to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting.
  • Develop presentations and summaries that translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Apply data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to solve real business challenges.
  • Enhance data quality and reporting processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Current enrollment in a degree program in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and interest in data visualization or business intelligence tools.
  • Curiosity about retail banking, customer analytics, and sales performance.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL, R, or Python for data analysis.
  • Exposure to business or financial data through coursework or prior projects.
