We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Insurance Analyst to join our team. This role is located in New York, NY and is a hybrid position (4 days in office, 1 remote) offering work flexibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in the insurance industry required.
  • Prior Insurance experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Property & Casualty insurance subject matter expert, skilled in developing, renewing, and managing corporate and subsidiary insurance programs.
  • Evaluate policy coverage, negotiate with brokers and underwriters, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist Corporate Insurance and internal stakeholders in preparing underwriting submission materials and facilitating placements for corporate and subsidiary insurance programs, including Property & Casualty and Workers Compensation.
  • Support Wealth Management in overseeing trust properties within the Master Trust program and monitoring standalone personal line insurance outside the program.
  • Manage insurance claims administration for corporate and subsidiary policies, including reporting, investigation, and tracking of claims.
  • Review vendor/supplier contracts, real estate lease agreements, and RFP agreements to ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
  • Perform administrative duties such as maintaining and updating insurance schedules, verifying insurance invoices against binders for accuracy, and coordinating payments with Accounts Payable and Finance.
  • Independently handle multiple projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Exhibit strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Act as a proactive self-starter dedicated to continuous learning and effective collaboration.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and prepare presentations as necessary.
