About The Position

The Corporate Information Technology (IT) Manager at Gemini Industries will lead the strategic direction of the company's IT infrastructure, ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, keep the company on pace with evolving technology, oversee new Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning initiatives and business opportunities, and maintain Gemini’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The Corporate IT Manager will oversee the integration of technology across all operational aspects to enhance efficiency, security, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in leading IT strategy in a large organization with complex systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of CMMC, NIST, and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with statistical software programs (e.g., R, Python, Weka, Apache Spark, and SQL).
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent analytic skills associated with working on unstructured datasets.
  • Experience in supporting technical, managerial, or operational fields and mature judgement required to interface with external stakeholders and senior government personnel.
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build processes that support data transformation, workload management, data structures, dependency, and metadata.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build consensus, work effectively and independently.
  • Experience navigating experimental environments and making recommendations on risk management while maximizing innovation.
  • Thorough knowledge of research designs, particularly systems thinking and/or design thinking.
  • Working knowledge and experience in an Organizational Program Maturity business model.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex, multi-disciplinary ideas, and insights.
  • Ability to translate complex, technical findings into an easily understood narrative.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills, including superior ability to think strategically.
  • Demonstrated experience using analytic methods and methodological tools in mathematics or statistics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's mission and business goals.
  • Lead technology innovation to support new business opportunities and operational efficiency.
  • Keep pace with evolving technologies, identify acquisition opportunities, recommend technology initiatives, and ensure sound life cycle management for IT hardware and infrastructure.
  • Direct the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and infrastructure to meet CMMC standards.
  • Ensure all IT operations comply with federal cybersecurity requirements, focusing on protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
  • Oversee the corporate IT infrastructure, including network systems, cloud services, data centers, and cybersecurity tools.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and performance of all IT systems.
  • Manage a diverse team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
  • Cultivate relationships with technology vendors, partners, and key stakeholders to enhance technological capabilities and solutions.
  • Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while investing in future technologies.
  • Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, particularly in cybersecurity, to safeguard company data and operations.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
