About The Position
This is a lead position that conducts audits of large corporate taxpayers with an emphasis on the oil and gas industry. While the audits require some examination of books and records, the audits typically involve tax research and analysis of multi-million-dollar issues dealing with formulary apportionment, accounting methods, corporate reorganizations, foreign operations, and corporate tax shelter strategies. Auditors often participate on litigation teams with our appeals staff and Assistant Attorneys General during the litigation of these issues.
