The Corporate Finance & Strategy (CFS) practice at BCG is a leading practice area that helps organizations drive value creation, optimize financial strategies, and execute high-impact transactions. CFS partners with clients across industries to shape winning corporate and portfolio strategies, enhance finance functions, and navigate complex mergers, acquisitions, and integrations. As part of the business management and operations team, this internship will focus on supporting the CFS Strategy Business Director in coordinating projects, assisting with internal initiatives, and contributing to the overall efficiency of Strategy operations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week from May to December in Chicago.
  • Interest in business operations, project coordination, communications.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Trello, Slack, or SharePoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in planning and tracking internal CFS initiatives, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Helping to coordinate learning & development programs, internal training sessions, and affiliation activities.
  • Supporting logistics for CFS networking events, leadership meetings, and professional development sessions.
  • Assisting with internal newsletters, preparing materials, and drafting content for CFS-wide communications.
  • Supporting process improvements, documenting workflows, and providing operational support as needed.
  • Conducting ad-hoc analyses, operational tasks, and small-scale strategic projects within CFS operations.

Benefits

  • Compensation range for role: $21-$24 per hour
