About The Position
The Corporate Finance Intern will assist in day-to-day financial tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role offers hands-on experience with financial modeling (both short term and longer-term forecasting), month-end close processes, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth and financial awareness across the organization.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and PowerPoint are required; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) or data tools (Tableau or Power BI) is a plus
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to simplify complex issues and derive actionable insights from large datasets
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal/written communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Junior, Senior, or Grad student preferred)
Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, including budget-to-actual variance analysis; support build-out of Product Profitability Analyses for Headwear and Apparel
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Help gather data and update spreadsheets for departmental budget tracking and strategic planning efforts
- Keep all sensitive matters confidential
- Other projects as assigned
