About The Position
Stinson LLP is seeking an entry-level Associate to join the Corporate Finance Division in our St. Louis office in the Fall of 2025. This position is ideal for current 3Ls who are looking to start their legal careers in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be expected to possess a strong work ethic, excellent academic credentials, and strong writing, analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills. A keen interest in corporate finance, particularly in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, venture capital, private equity, and corporate governance, is essential for this role. As a junior associate, you will be involved in various aspects of corporate finance transactions. This includes serving in a junior associate capacity for merger and acquisition transactions, venture capital investment transactions, and private equity investment/leveraged buy-out transactions. You will also be responsible for reviewing and providing advice on important regulatory filings such as Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, as well as proxy statements. Additionally, you will provide guidance on corporate governance matters and assist with public and/or private offerings of equity and debt securities. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance law and to work closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment.
