Position Summary The Corporate Executive Chef, Task Force is responsible for leading, developing, and deploying Omni’s Task Force Chef program across the entire portfolio. This role oversees all traveling Task Force Chefs, ensuring consistent operational support, seamless property transitions, and strict alignment with Omni’s culinary brand standards. This position plays a critical role in advancing Omni’s culinary identity through training, openings, menu implementations, audits, and high-impact brand initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience, including Executive Chef or multi-unit support roles; luxury hotel/resort experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing culinary teams across multiple properties.
  • Strong background in culinary technique, menu development, recipe costing, and kitchen leadership.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 80%) across the Omni portfolio.

  • Experience with task force deployment, hotel openings, or corporate culinary operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction, structure, and performance of Omni’s Task Force Chef program, ensuring readiness and effective deployment across the portfolio.
  • Oversee, mentor, and develop all Task Force Chefs, building a robust pipeline of future culinary leaders.
  • Maintain and evolve Omni culinary brand standards, partnering with Corporate Food & Beverage, Executive Chefs, and Operations.
  • Provide hands-on support at the property level during transitions, leadership vacancies, high-volume periods, and times of operational need.
  • Execute brand-driven menu rollouts, culinary initiatives, and seasonal programming with consistent technique and quality standards.
  • Lead culinary planning for hotel openings and renovations, including concept development, design input, menu builds, equipment planning, and opening-team execution.
  • Conduct operational audits to ensure adherence to culinary standards, sanitation protocols, recipe execution, and cost-management practices.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Beverage, Marketing, and Operations to deliver national activations, brand campaigns, and supplier-driven programs.
  • Develop property-level training programs, including onboarding, standardized culinary education, and hands-on technical development.
  • Support financial performance through inventory oversight, waste-reduction strategies, recipe costing, prep mapping, and production analysis.
  • Lead culinary activations supporting key brand moments, including seasonal campaigns, holiday programs, and occupancy-driving initiatives.
  • Create activation toolkits and playbooks to ensure efficient and consistent implementation across properties.
  • Partner with hotel teams to develop localized culinary experiences for restaurants, banquets, rooftops, pools, clubs, and specialty dining concepts.
