About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a full time CORPORATE EVENT SUPERVISOR (PM) position at Microsoft in Redmond, WA. The position involves supervising a team of 15-20 associates, monitoring workflow to ensure orders are completed by the end of the day, and implementing room sets and security protocols. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The role requires proficiency in Outlook, Teams, and Excel for reporting purposes. The position also involves repeated lifting of 50 lbs and monitoring the training of new hires.

Requirements

• 2 years of previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 15-20 associates.
• Monitor workflow to ensure orders are completed by end of day.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers and manage disciplinary actions.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management.
• Act as a contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees, encouraging goal setting and advancement.
• Assign daily duties and monitor training of new hires.
• Manage room sets and security protocols.
• Communicate with internal staff and outside vendors.
• Complete daily reports.
