Corporate Environmental Safety Specialist
About The Position
ABX Innovative Packaging Solutions; LLC is seeking a Corporate Environmental Safety Specialist to support the development and administration of Environmental and Safety programs. Working in collaboration with the Director of Safety, Quality, Environment, and Regulatory Affairs, this position will implement Safety continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate the development of risk assessments and job safety analysis at multiple manufacturing locations. The specialist will conduct Safety audits in multiple manufacturing locations and facilitate incident root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Requirements
- Five years of experience working in a manufacturing Environmental and Safety program.
- Experience requirements are waved for graduates with a degree in: Occupational Safety and Health or Safety Engineering or certification in ASP, CSP, or GSP. Or, a degree in Environmental Management.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing locations in developing risk assessments and job Safety analysis.
- Facilitating incident investigations including root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
- Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions
- Develop weekly and monthly Safety training documents; train the trainer at each location.
- Manage corporate EHS software.
- Coordinate work of 3rd party environmental management provider with site environmental coordinators.
