About The Position

The Corporate Environmental Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining TCCA's environmental regulatory compliance program and providing corporate oversight of the ammonia process safety management program. This role will take a detail-oriented approach to regulatory compliance, technical skills to develop solutions to complex problems, and interpersonal skills to facilitate change in a cooperative environment. This position is a hybrid role with at least one day a week at the Tillamook plant offices.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, or environmental preferred) or environmental sciences.
• 6+ years experience in environmental compliance is required, dairy experience desired.
• 5+ years people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
• Supervise the wastewater treatment plant manager at the Tillamook facility.
• Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
• Investigate items related to the environmental compliance program.
• Create and implement environmental programs within the organization.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the company's environmental practices.
• Analyze potential environmental risks associated with the company's operations.
• Manage the Process Safety Management (PSM) programs at all TCCA facilities.
• Raise awareness about environmental policies among employees and stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental compliance into business processes.
• Track successes and communicate them to management and corporate communications.
