Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Corporate EHS Manager who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to the CEO.
Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs and policies in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations, standards, and guidelines
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence
Provide EHS training and education to employees at all levels to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business operations and decision-making processes
Prepare and submit required EHS reports to regulatory agencies
Stay current with EHS trends, regulations, and emerging issues to ensure the company remains at the forefront of EHS excellence
Manage emergency response plans and coordinate drills and exercises to ensure preparedness
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EHS performance and sustainability efforts
Schedule, monitor and review safety audits
Schedule and monitor OSHA required training, first aid training and oversee the administration of the First Responders Program
Maintain the SDS and Dupont Systems
Participate in special projects as required
Bachelor's Degree in Safety/Environmental Sciences
Minimum of five years of experience within a manufacturing environment
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards
Excellent organization skills
Good verbal, written and presentation skills to communicate effectively with employees and insurance providers
Strong project management and leadership skills
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
