About The Position

CCM is seeking a highly analytical and driven Corporate Development Analyst to support the SVP of Finance and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in driving key strategic and financial initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of strategic finance, M&A, and corporate development, playing a critical part in evaluating growth opportunities, supporting capital investment decisions, and preparing insights for board and executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, is resourceful, and can independently execute with urgency and impact. You'll have a direct impact on shaping the company's strategic direction and growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, corporate development, or management consulting.
  • Strong financial and operational modeling and valuation skills, including:
  • NPV / IRR analysis
  • DCF and FCF modeling
  • Capital budgeting and payback period analysis
  • Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
  • Scenario and sensitivity modeling
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, SUMPRODUCT, data tables, scenario tools, dynamic charts).
  • Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to distill complex financial analysis into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a "get it done" mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in transportation, logistics, or infrastructure industries is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the SVP of Finance and work cross-functionally with ELT members on strategic initiatives, financial analysis, and corporate development matters.
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, strategic initiatives, and M&A transactions, including NPV, IRR, FCF, and DCF analysis.
  • Support and lead cross functional due diligence processes and prepare executive-level presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of strategic business cases for new growth opportunities, partnerships, and operational improvements.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for executive leadership and board review.
  • Monitor industry trends and conduct competitive benchmarking to support strategic decision-making.
  • Help drive capital allocation and business planning processes to align investments with strategic priorities.
  • Create and maintain executive dashboards and reporting packages to communicate financial performance and investment impact.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to business leaders across operations, commercial, and corporate functions.
