The Morgan Stanley U.S. Banks continue to execute on a set of multi-year strategic priorities that are aligned with the broader Firm strategy. The Morgan Stanley U.S. Banks (Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association and Morgan Stanley Bank N.A.) offer a range of deposit products including brokerage account sweep deposits via the Bank Deposit Program, as well as Savings, Notice Deposits, CDs, and Global Currency deposit products for Wealth Management clients. The Deposits and Cash Management team remains focused on expanding its core product offerings, enhancing relationships with existing clients, and broadening the product portfolio to attract new clientele. Morgan Stanley U.S. Banks seek a dynamic candidate to join the product management team at the Executive Director level. This role will report to the Head of Sweeps and Savings. This role will lead the development and execution of a strategic corporate deposits initiative, driving innovation and integration across the Firm's corporate relationships. The position is highly strategic, focused on business planning, product roadmap development, and cross-functional execution, with distribution and origination efforts serving as complementary components.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of Experience in commercial or private banking, managing deposits and cash management offerings
  • Deep knowledge of the corporate treasury and cash management space
  • Experience with developing strategy and business development
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Expertise in conveying complex banking and financial issues to decision-makers.
  • Strong ability to switch contexts, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business writing and presentations (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in market research, tool utilization, and business analysis, including ROI case studies and transformation business cases
  • Thrives in high-pressure and challenging business environments
  • Proficiency is MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Appreciate & encourage diversity of people, ideas & perspectives

  • Master's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and management of new corporate deposits initiative from concept to execution.
  • Assemble and inspire a high-performing team dedicated to advancing corporate banking and deposit growth, cultivating a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Develop new product offerings and implement strategies, to establish and grow the corporate deposits business leveraging data-driven insights and market opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and written communications for executive leadership and key stakeholders regarding corporate banking strategies and performance.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Translate insights into product development and growth strategies.
  • Partner with internal teams (Institutional Securities, Investment Management, MS at Work) to integrate offerings and maximize client value.
  • Support distribution teams in identifying aligned opportunities Technology & Risk Governance
  • Identify, and document key use cases and processes to convert into requirements for Technology and Digital teams.
  • Provide technical requirements and coordinate build with technology and digital teams.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in fast-paced environments typical of corporate banking.
  • Coordinate with multiple risk teams and ensure robust governance via New Product Approval committees
  • Manage and coordinate escalations and exceptions for key client opportunities
  • Oversee strategic client opportunities and manage a pipeline for new and existing products.
