DESCRIPTION Sinch is looking for a dynamic and experienced Corporate Counsel to join our legal team. This key role will involve providing comprehensive legal support to various departments, including sales, procurement, and compliance, while also managing relationships with external counsel. The Corporate Counsel will help navigate complex legal issues and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in at least one jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a corporate legal environment.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and commercial law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A team player with a proactive approach to identifying legal issues and solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with telecommunications or technology industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including service agreements, licensing agreements, and NDAs.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and compliance matters related to transactions and operations.
  • Conduct legal research and keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop legal strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the legal aspects of corporate initiatives and projects, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures.
  • Train employees on legal compliance and best practices.
  • Handle any necessary disputes or regulatory matters involving the company.
