About The Position

Amazon is looking for a talented attorney to support our online store business. You will work directly with your business partners, serving as their primary legal advisor on a broad range and variety of matters.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
• Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
• Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day legal support to business teams and developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, efficient, and business-centric ways.
• Helping your business teams launch new features and product categories.
• Serving as lead counsel in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Resolving issues arising in existing commercial relationships, and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
