About The Position

As our Corporate Counsel, you'll be at the forefront of developing legal
strategies that enable Amazon's transportation and logistics business to

compliance. Your expertise will help us navigate complex legal landscapes,
mitigate risks, and create flexible solutions that empower our business to move
quickly and effectively.

cross-functional teams, diving deep into road safety challenges, analyzing
intricate compliance issues, and crafting creative legal approaches that balance
business needs with regulatory requirements. Expect to engage in strategic

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal counsel in complex business environments
• Proven track record of developing innovative legal solutions in situations with unusually high degrees of ambiguity
• Ability to communicate with and influence senior leaders, both verbally and in writing
• Experience managing high-impact customer and business initiatives
• Strong background in risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Experience in litigation a plus
• Regulatory law experience a plus
• Experience in workplace safety a plus

Responsibilities

• Drive road safety and compliance strategies across multiple business units
• Provide comprehensive legal counsel that balances risk management with business flexibility
• Develop innovative mechanisms to address complex legal and operational challenges
• Collaborate with internal teams to create proactive compliance frameworks
• Offer strategic guidance on emerging legal and technological considerations in transportation safety
