Corporate Counsel, Corporate Securities

Yelp, Inc
1d$141,000 - $237,000Remote

About The Position

Yelp is looking for a clever attorney to join its tight-knit legal team, which supports Yelp in its efforts to connect millions of people with great local businesses. You will support Yelp’s corporate securities and governance practice, but will also have opportunities to work in other legal areas. Although Yelp is a publicly traded company with thousands of employees, it maintains a startup culture and close-knit environment—reflected in our small legal team. We are looking for someone with impressive legal experience who shares our commitment to providing innovative solutions. You will report to Yelp’s Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, who oversees corporate securities and governance matters. We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.

  • Strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a team-first mentality.
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to dive into the details.
  • Proven success working cross-functionally with a wide range of teams.
  • Ability to break down complex legal requirements and provide practical, business-minded advice.
  • Excellent legal and business judgment, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and organization.
