Requirements

  • CPA with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and industry roles.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven leadership in managing large accounting teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial systems; ERP experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
  • Deliver clear and reliable financial reporting to senior leadership.
  • Align accounting practices with strategic business objectives.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to US GAAP and regulatory standards.
  • Manage external audits and maintain robust financial policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Legal, HR, IT, and Operations to embed financial accountability across the business.
  • Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across departments and regions.
  • Oversee payroll accounting and ensure accurate cost allocations across departments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Leverage technology and automation to modernize accounting workflows.
