The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and providing legal guidance to internal stakeholders. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with business leaders and contribute to the company’s ongoing success and risk management.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience focused on commercial contracts.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation strategies, and regulatory issues impacting business transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, customer agreements, NDAs, service contracts, and supply agreements.
  • Provide practical legal advice and risk assessments to internal business partners on contract terms, company policies, and business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contracts align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial transactions and advise on contract interpretation and dispute resolution.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and update contract templates and policies as needed.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of internal contracting processes and training programs for staff.
  • Support broader legal department initiatives, including compliance, corporate governance, and special projects as assigned.
