About The Position

As Corporate Compliance Manager you would be responsible for building, managing, and continuously improving KLAS’s corporate compliance program, with a strong emphasis on data privacy and information security. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams—including HR, Finance, IT, and Legal—to identify risk, strengthen governance, and ensure KLAS meets its legal and regulatory obligations while continuing to move the organization forward.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role; experience in research, healthcare, or data-driven organizations is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, with demonstrated experience in data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to see both the details and the bigger picture.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can explain complex topics in plain language.
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant professional certifications preferred, including CCEP and privacy certifications such as CIPP/US

Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate corporate compliance risks, with a strong focus on data privacy and information security.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls supporting regulatory compliance, ethics, and corporate governance.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and advise leadership on emerging compliance and privacy risks.
  • Partner across KLAS with HR, Finance, IT, Legal, and executive leadership to embed compliance into day-to-day operations.
  • Design and deliver clear, practical training and communications to build employee awareness of compliance and data privacy responsibilities.
  • Review contracts for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
  • Conduct internal reviews and audits, maintain compliance documentation, and prepare reports for senior leadership and regulators.
