Our organization is seeking an experienced Corporate Compliance specialist to join our shared services compliance team. Our ideal candidate is a professional of high ethical standards who will help the company stay on a lawful and ethical course. This position works closely with Legal Affairs and HR departments:

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the areas of business regulatory compliance, risk management and best practices, particularly in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ability to quickly grasp industry and existing business processes and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and conflict management skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft 365 / Office Suite programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or administration, legal studies, project management or a similar field of study or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications in the field of compliance are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Keep abreast of external and internal regulatory developments, and best practices in compliance control, and provide guidance on compliance matters.
  • Analyze business systems to assess compliance with regulations and ethical standards.
  • Develop and/or improve compliance control systems, policies, and procedures within legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on process improvements so that operations are in line with policies and outside regulations.
  • Advise business teams and leadership on relevant regulatory changes that impact current operations or future business.
  • Conduct audits and assessments.
  • Design/organize compliance updates and training.
