About The Position

HII has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Business Management (Financial Accounting & Reporting) intern at the Corporate office in Newport News, Virginia during the Summer of 2026! For 10 weeks, you will assist in the monthly and quarterly financial close and associated reporting as required. You will also be exposed to financial reports, general ledger reconciliation, accounting transfers, balance reconciliation, in addition to business writing, professional networking and enhancing communications skills.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a degreed program that supports the company's business requirements.
• Currently attending a 4 year college or university (or 2+2 program) and ideally will be a rising Junior or above.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Work a 40-hour work week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer.

• Proficiency of MS Office Suite.
