About The Position

The Truist Internship provides college students with a 10 week working and immersion experience to sharpen their skills. During this internship, time is focused on summer long projects with other students and full-time, experienced teammates. Interns have the opportunity to network with other interns, teammates, and senior leaders. Truist interns sharpen the leadership, technical, and business skill they'll use for the rest of their careers. The internship program serves as a pipeline to our Truist full-time programs. Summer Analyst Program Overview: The Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Program will run for approximately 10 weeks in the summer months. The Summer Analyst Program will consist of: Activities: Networking socials, case studies and presentations, team-building projects Executive Speaker Series: CEO, Corporate Banking Senior Leaders, among others Community Service: Opportunities to participate in various volunteer initiatives are provided and involvement is strongly encouraged The opportunity to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the investment bank. Competitive Summer Analysts will be eligible to receive an offer to return in full time positions as part of our Analyst program upon graduation. Job Description: The Corporate Banking Summer Analyst program provides the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of disciplines within corporate banking. Interns will sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and gain experience in corporate finance and with corporate banking products through on-the-job training. Within each group, Analysts play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients. Assignments will be within the Corporate Banking groups, with the opportunity to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the bank. Corporate Banking: Corporate Banking serves clients under Truist Securities (part of Truist Financial Corporation (NYSE: TFC), one of the nation's largest banking organizations). The Corporate Banking team is responsible for providing coverage banking services to corporate clients, including corporate finance and specialized product services, designated by industry vertical, with a focus on mid to large cap-sized private and public companies. Corporate Banking analysts support their specific industry team and the senior Corporate Bankers through their responsibilities involving, but not limited to due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, and presentation development.

Requirements

  • Final graduation with a BA/BS degree December 2027 or prior to June 2028
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
