About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Director – Corporate Banking (Insurance Sector) to join the Global Financial Institutions Group (FIG) team. This role combines Portfolio Management and Relationship Management , focusing on credit underwriting, deal structuring, and client relationship growth within the insurance sector.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Corporate Banking, specifically within the insurance sector
• Strong experience in lending transactions, structuring, and credit analysis
• Proven track record of client relationship management and cross-selling
• In-depth knowledge of portfolio management and banking products
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

Responsibilities

• Lead origination, structuring, and execution of lending transactions for insurance clients
• Manage and grow a portfolio of insurance sector clients
• Perform credit underwriting, risk assessment, and financial analysis
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams across capital markets and product groups
• Prepare and present pitch books, financial models, and credit documentation
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and client performance
• Support deal negotiations and strategic decision-making
