About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Corporate Banking Associate within Relationship Management as part of the Technology, Media & Telecom Corporate & Investment Banking team. The Technology, Media & Telecom Corporate Banking Associate – Relationship Management position will be responsible for supporting the active management, strategic development, and growth of a portfolio of corporate banking relationships. This role partners closely with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Product Partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure the bank delivers tailored financing, advisory, and capital markets solutions across a suite of products (lending, payments, liquidity, FX, DCM, derivatives, trade finance) while appropriately managing credit exposure. In this role, you will: Conduct market, industry, and financial analysis (public filings, research reports, forecasts) Act as an intermediary in client capital-raising and strategic advisory transactions Assist in cross-selling CIB’s broad product suite to deepen client relationships Drive content creation for client meetings and follow-up deliverables (owns deliverables, creates new content, coordinates with all partners) Coordinate marketing and execution activities with global offices and product partners Support account planning and individual client strategy

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer.
  • Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in portfolio management
  • CIB Portfolio Management experience, including experience with leveraged lending
  • Experience within credit underwriting and/or capital market underwriting
