About The Position

Our company, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Corporate Audit team as Regulatory Liaison, Assistant Vice President (AVP). This pivotal role will focus on serving as a regulatory liaison, ensuring seamless coordination and communication with our primary regulators. The successful candidate will play a critical part in maintaining the company's strong regulatory relationships and upholding the highest standards of compliance and audit excellence. This role can be performed in a hybrid model (4 days onsite 1 day remote) out of Boston or Quincy office. Why is this role important to us? Your new role Within Corporate Audit, we receive requests from our primary regulators on a regular basis, as part of both our direct examinations and involvement in the business exams. This role will serve as a central point of contact, to ensure timely and quality and consistent responses to all primary regulator requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in audit, compliance, or regulatory affairs within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating regulatory examinations and serving as a liaison with regulators.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate direct regulatory examinations for our primary regulator, preparing required documentation and meeting materials
  • Monitor regulatory developments for our primary regulator and proactively inform the Corporate Audit team and senior management of any changes or emerging issues impacting the audit function
  • Attend meetings involving Corporate Audit and global regulators, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up on all action items
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy in regulatory communications
  • Maintain accurate records of global regulatory interactions, requests, and outcomes to support ongoing compliance and audit readiness
  • Support implementation of the Corporate Audit compliance program by collecting data, performing control mapping, and assisting with impact assessments to support effective program execution
  • Act as a liaison between Corporate Audit and our primary regulator, coordinating all document and meeting requests
