About The Position

The Corporate Attorney at Entrust plays a pivotal role in enhancing and managing the company's compliance program. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is open to challenges and changes. The Corporate Attorney will partner closely with the VP of Compliance to ensure that Entrust's compliance initiatives are effectively implemented and maintained. This includes overseeing the Governance Lead Records Management Program, which involves maintaining the Global Records Retention Policy and the accompanying Records Retention Schedule. The Corporate Attorney will also host an annual records clean-up day and coordinate with external counsel to ensure that appropriate records management practices are in place. In addition to records management, the Corporate Attorney will lead the Global Policy Management Program, managing the Policy Governance Board and ensuring that all global policies are reviewed and updated annually. The role also involves assisting the VP of Compliance in setting agendas, maintaining minutes, and facilitating meetings of compliance-related senior leadership committees. The Corporate Attorney will prepare periodic reports to the Audit Committee regarding the state of Entrust's compliance program and assist with internal audits and risk assessments of the enterprise-wide compliance program. The Corporate Attorney will also manage third-party due diligence processes to mitigate anti-corruption risks, perform legal assessments related to red flags during the due diligence process, and create and deliver targeted training and communications on key compliance topics to colleagues. This role includes serving as the administrator for Entrust's third-party hotline management system and compiling quarterly hotline metrics reports for presentation to the Audit Committee. The Corporate Attorney will act as a liaison for cross-functional processes and participate in enterprise risk management activities related to compliance risks, ensuring that Entrust remains compliant with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
