Join Entrust's growing legal team as a Corporate Attorney. Work closely with our dynamic Americas Sales teams to support revenue goals while managing risk, including negotiating complex technology and service agreements, training Sales on legal topics, and improving contracting processes for scalability. Independently manage a high volume of transactions, build strong cross-functional relationships, and develop in-depth knowledge of Entrust's technology to guide risk assessment. Support due diligence and integration for acquisitions and adopt a proactive, business-oriented approach to serving internal and external clients. We are looking for creative, collaborative and results-driven lawyers. This Corporate Attorney role will play a key part in partnering with Entrust's Americas Sales team and other members across the organization.   • Partner with our Americas Sales team to meet revenue targets while managing corporate risk.
  • Train Sales on relevant legal topics (e.g., negotiation efficiencies, corporate risk tolerance and other contracting positions).
  • Negotiate and close complex technology, support and professional services agreements.
  • Collaborate with the legal team and key stakeholders across the organization to build efficiencies and processes into the customer contracting lifecycle.
  • Efficiently manage a large volume and variety of transactions and independently prioritize and manage projects effectively.
  • Build strong relationships within our global legal team and cross-functionally, at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Entrust's technology and business practices to appropriately quantify risk.
  • Assist in due diligence and integration efforts associated with acquisitions, as required.
  • Conduct research on applicable laws and regulations regarding commercial and compliance matters.
  • JD (or equivalent) from an accredited law school and authorized and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the jurisdiction in which you are residing and have unrestricted work authorization.
  • 4+ years of relevant, post-law school experience (at least 2 years in an in-house corporate environment preferred).
  • Strong skills in interpreting, drafting, and negotiating sophisticated technology contracts.
  • Experience supporting Sales, both direct and indirect models, including negotiating managed service, OEM, system integrator agreements.
  • A solid understanding of data privacy and information security contractual issues.
  • Ability to travel as necessary (estimated at 10% or less).
  • Superior interpersonal, communication (both written and oral) and organization skills.
  • Responsive and detailed-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Highly adaptable and agile; comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working effectively cross-functionally and building strong relationships with business partners across an organization.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
  • Government contracting experience at federal, state and local levels a plus.
