About The Position

This position will provide database software development and maintenance across a wide array of company applications, primarily supporting corporate, business operations, and financial operations functions. The role includes the maintenance and upgrade of the JF Taylor website and the JF Taylor Intranet, along with providing administrative and management support for the IT requirements of JF Taylor.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field/discipline; additional education in Information Systems or Information Technology is a plus.
• 1-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience developing SQL databases, including front-ends for SQL databases.
• Experience with SharePoint development using the Microsoft SharePoint Framework and backend APIs.
• Experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, JavaScript, REST, and/or ASP.NET.
• Experience with Office 365 toolsets.
• Experience with older ASP and Visual Basic (VB) is desired.
• Good interpersonal skills for dealing with all employees and departments, including corporate management.
• Experience with AWS and Bootstrap/HTML/CSS is desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update existing databases supporting corporate, business office, and financial functions.
• Develop, migrate, and maintain a new SharePoint Intranet to support employee training, certification tracking, social events, and other corporate data and documentation.
• Maintain and update the front-facing company website.
• Act as a liaison between third-party IT support and JF Taylor users, providing status updates to corporate managers.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
• Procure, assign, and track software licenses company-wide.
