Requirements

  • Full-time student either in sophomore or junior year pursuing an Accounting degree at an accredited college or university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to strict guidelines
  • Organizational skills to enable effective management of multiple, shifting priorities

Responsibilities

  • Assist with various accounting activities associated with monthly and quarterly financial close
  • Assist in off-close procedures including fixed asset review, setting allocations, joint venture financial statements and cleanup of other financial statement schedules
  • Gather and analyze financial data on an ad hoc basis
  • Develop and/or enhance existing spreadsheets to support business needs
  • Learn and network with employees, leaders, and other interns
