We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate accounting environment, working alongside professionals to support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and other Office applications (experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP a plus).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing processes
• Assist in preparation of account analysis and reconciliations for various general ledger accounts.
• Help prepare journal entries and assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including but not limited to processing of overhead invoices, company credit card statements, and cash receipts.
• Assist in maintaining and tracking financial transactions and documentation.
• Work with internal teams to gather necessary financial data for reporting.
• Assist with preparation of supporting documents for annual profit planning.
• Other duties and ad-hoc accounting projects as required
