About The Position

Erie Insurance is offering a Corporate Accounting and Reporting Internship as part of its Future Focus Internship Program. This program is designed to provide college students with professional experience in a challenging and competitive environment. Interns will have the opportunity to engage in various educational, developmental, professional, social, and networking activities, including interactions with high-level leaders within the organization. The internship will run from May 11th or May 18th, 2026, to August 7th, 2026, and is aimed at students pursuing a four-year degree or a master's degree, preferably those who are completing their sophomore, junior, or senior years.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pursuit of Bachelor's degree with completion of sophomore year in a relevant field required.
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the corporate accounting and reporting team with preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Assist with preparation of supporting documentation and verification of financial amounts.
  • Conduct research and gather information to assist in creating presentations as required.
  • Analyze data and report findings.
  • Verify and enter data into appropriate systems, and update electronic files.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
  • Complete special projects as required.
