Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support audit processes by providing documentation and resolving queries.
  • Assist in preparation of expense allocation.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Manager
