About The Position

Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a motivated and experienced Corporate Account Manager (CAM) to drive growth within the Aerospace & Defense sector, with a dedicated focus on one of our most strategic key accounts. The CAM acts as a strategic partner, shaping long-term account vision and orchestrating Siemens’ broad portfolio of automation, electrification, and digitalization solutions to align with the customer’s priorities. This role emphasizes building deep, trust-based executive relationships across all levels of the customer’s organization, ensuring Siemens is positioned as a long-term partner in their transformation journey.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in executive account management, business development, or consulting roles with large, complex customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain senior executive relationships that influence long-term strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of the Aerospace & Defense industry, including customer programs, supply chain networks, and regulatory environment (ITAR, DFARS, export compliance).
  • Proven success in orchestrating multi-stakeholder account strategies across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate leadership.
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills to engage credibly at C-suite level.
  • Broad knowledge of automation and digitalization solutions (digital twin, industrial software, CNC/PLC, robotics, shop floor connectivity).
  • U.S. Citizenship (due to the nature of Aerospace & Defense business and compliance requirements).

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience managing large, strategic accounts in Aerospace & Defense or related industries.
  • Existing executive relationships within major aerospace primes, Tier 1 suppliers, or federal defense agencies.
  • Strong background in digital transformation initiatives, including digital twin, model-based system engineering, and complex smart manufacturing solutions.
  • Experience orchestrating cross-divisional teams and complex global customer engagements.
  • Siemens Portfolio Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of the Siemens Digital Industries product, solutions, and service portfolio.
  • Complex Opportunity Strategy: Proven ability to develop and execute sophisticated opportunity pursuit strategies across complex ecosystems (e.g., end-users, engineering firms, system integrators).
  • MBA, Master’s degree, or advanced technical degree in engineering, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-year strategic account plan aligned to the customer’s business roadmap and industry challenges.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior executives, including C-level leadership, program heads, engineering executives, supply chain leaders, and IT/OT decision-makers.
  • Influence strategic priorities by serving as a trusted advisor who brings insights, innovation, and thought leadership.
  • Facilitate regular executive-to-executive alignment sessions between Siemens leadership and the customer’s leadership team.
  • Translate customer challenges into integrated solution opportunities across automation, digital twin, electrification, and industrial software.
  • Coordinate Siemens resources and technical experts across multiple divisions (DI, SI, Smart Infrastructure, SW Sales, OEM Sales, Engineering) to deliver unified solutions.
  • Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and integrators to ensure successful execution and extended ecosystem alignment.
  • Guide account governance, strategic planning, and portfolio positioning to ensure measurable value creation and long-term customer success.
  • Ensure Siemens engagements deliver tangible outcomes in efficiency, flexibility, cost reduction, compliance, and innovation.
  • Establish account-level KPIs and track progress against strategic objectives.
  • Represent Siemens as a recognized thought leader in the Aerospace & Defense industry by engaging in associations, forums, and leadership councils.
  • Continuously analyze market dynamics, program investments, and customer initiatives to anticipate future needs.
  • Provide insights and feedback to Siemens’ global strategy and portfolio teams to strengthen competitiveness in Aerospace & Defense.
