About The Position

West Texas Eye Associates has a unique opportunity for a BC/BE Cornea Specialist to join our fabulous team in Lubbock, Texas. The team includes 7 Surgeons, 1 optometrist, and dedicated technicians, scribes, and front office staff that treat a wide variety of eye disease including corneal disorders, diabetic eye diseases, cataracts, LASIK, and glaucoma.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Specialization in Cornea
• Valid medical license to practice in Texas
• Strong surgical skills and experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience with advanced eye care technologies
• Interest in teaching or mentoring
• Familiarity with electronic health records

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for corneal disorders
• Perform eye surgeries including LASIK and cataract procedures
• Collaborate with a team of surgeons and optometrists
• Manage patient care and treatment plans
• Participate in continuing education and training
