Citi’s wide array of Trade solutions and tools aim to deliver seamless, scalable trade flows while helping mitigate risk and optimize efficiency. Core trade product offerings include: Standby Letters of Credit, Commercial Letters of Credit, and Documentary Collections. This role is a role within the Client Segments group in Core Trade that will focus on the Niche client segment that includes Financial Institutions (FI), Natural Resources (NR) and Intermediaries. Responsibilities of the role will include generating a thorough understanding of Citi’s capabilities (including vs our industry peers), a detailed knowledge of the industry including general industry needs and insights into how clients operate within. Such knowledge will allow the successful applicant to position Citi to add maximum value to our clients and differentiate Citi Vs our industry peers. Trade Sales and client coverage teams will be the key partners to generate pipeline of clients where the capabilities can be deployed and ultimately seeing the pipeline through to execution. The success of this role will be increased client penetration, increased wallet share and retention of clients.
