Leading the team responsible for ensuring our customers receive the high quality and reliability they expect in addition to enabling a design where quality is built in to scale large volumes at capable suppliers is an incredibly challenging job requiring a broad array of technical and management skills. You will engage early in development to enable new technologies that goes across Apple Products.

Requirements

• MS/MBA in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Finance/business acumen to understand cost drivers and derive costs associated with managing quality.
• Experience with reliability methods and quality sampling methodologies.
• Third party production quality and process management experience.
• Experience working with customers.
• Project management experience.

Nice To Haves

• Mandarin language skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality improvement actions on future products.
• Enable mass production capable manufacturing processes.
• Develop plans to validate/verify new product quality at each development landmark.
• Approach problems using an engineering method and make data-driven decisions.
• Bring up capable suppliers that can execute at a high level on an ongoing basis.
