Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years NDT experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience.
  • Currently hold Level 3 certifications in NDT.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with training, personnel testing and auditing NDT systems.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge and experience with root cause and process control tools.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft suite.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the internal NDT team to mentor and provide technical leadership.
  • Develop and implement training for the NDT team.
  • Define the progression map and support individual team members' IDP.
  • Support product and process excellence, standard work development and improvement.
  • Identify and drive necessary changes, NDT projects, RCCA and escape management.
  • Represent NDT as a subject matter expert in respective discipline meetings.
  • Perform X-ray NDT audits and certifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and inspection system oversight.
  • Drive process improvements across the team and business.
  • Support internal P&W business units, suppliers, and partners to develop and continuously improve X-ray NDT systems.
