This role will report to the Lead SEO Specialist and provide support by fulfilling organic search optimization writing tasks, help create and optimize content, and provide education on industry best practices to the larger digital marketing team.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an undergraduate course for Marketing, Communications, or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Write original, high-quality content for blog posts, web pages, product descriptions, landing pages, and more.
• Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices, including proper keyword integration, formatting, and structure while following content briefs.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to implement keyword research and optimize content for search engines.
• Assist in developing content for marketing campaigns, social media, and email as needed.
• Maintain consistency in tone, style, and brand voice across all written materials.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and grammatical correctness.
• Contribute to content idea generation and brainstorming sessions.
• Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of SHP.
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
