About The Position

Copywriter, Fluke Creative Studio The Copywriter for the Fluke Creative Studio will craft clear, compelling, and technically accurate content that elevates the Fluke brand across global marketing channels. As part of Fluke’s in‑house creative agency, this role merges creative storytelling with technical product understanding—translating complex concepts into accessible, inspiring narratives that resonate with customers across industries and career stages. This writer will collaborate closely with designers, content strategists, product marketers, and subject‑matter experts to develop messaging that supports awareness, engagement, and demand. They will play a key role in strengthening Fluke’s voice, ensuring all written content reflects the brand’s purpose, communicates value with clarity, and inspires trust among early‑career technicians, engineers, and professionals worldwide. The ideal candidate is a versatile writer who can shift seamlessly between conceptual campaign development and detailed product content. They thrive in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment and bring a passion for writing that blends creativity, accuracy, and customer empathy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of professional writing experience within an agency, creative studio, or in‑house marketing team.
  • Proven ability to write for both creative campaigns and technical audiences.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across formats (campaigns, digital content, product copy, scripts, email, social, web, etc.).
  • Excellent grammar, editing, and storytelling skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise, and compelling language.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to navigate feedback and adjust messaging as needed.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing for industrial, technical, B2B, or engineering audiences strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with SEO writing principles, structured content, and on‑page optimization best practices.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration platforms (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Workfront) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Storytelling & Brand Writing Develop engaging, brand‑aligned copy for digital, print, video, and integrated campaigns that support Fluke’s strategic priorities.
  • Craft narratives that connect emotionally with technical audiences while reinforcing Fluke’s leadership in safety, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Maintain and evolve Fluke’s brand voice—ensuring tone, clarity, and messaging consistency across all channels and geographies.
  • Write compelling headlines, scripts, taglines, narratives, long-form copy, and product value propositions that differentiate Fluke in the marketplace.
  • Technical & Product Writing Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, audience‑friendly content without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and subject‑matter experts to articulate product benefits, features, and use cases across industries such as electrical, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, HVAC, energy, and more.
  • Write and refine content ranging from product pages and datasheets to solution briefs, landing pages, and training materials.
  • Support the development of precise, functional copy for tools, instrumentation, software, and connected solutions.
  • Content Development for Growth (SEO / AEO / GEO) Create web and digital content optimized for SEO, AEO, and GEO initiatives—ensuring discoverability, clarity, and user relevance.
  • Collaborate with the Digital team to interpret keyword insights and search intent, applying them to high‑quality content that improves visibility and drives organic traffic.
  • Write structured, intent‑aligned content for web pages, FAQs, how‑to guides, and other performance‑driven assets.
  • Continuously refine content based on analytics, testing, and performance insights.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with designers, art directors, videographers, photographers and producers within the Creative Studio to develop integrated concepts and deliverables.
  • Partner with Brand, Product Marketing, Digital, and Commercial teams to ensure messaging accuracy, alignment, and strategic impact.
  • Participate in creative reviews, brainstorms, and workshops to generate ideas and contribute to concept development.
  • Manage feedback from multiple stakeholders with professionalism and clarity.
  • Operational Excellence & Workflow Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high‑quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure all content meets brand, legal, and technical standards prior to final delivery.
  • Contribute to content templates, writing guidelines, and scalable workflows that support global creative operations.
  • Collaborate with external writers, translators, and freelancers as needed to support capacity and localization efforts.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement Stay current on writing trends, platform best practices, and emerging content formats—from short‑form digital storytelling to interactive and connected content experiences.
  • Explore new approaches to content creation, including AI‑assisted writing tools, to enhance efficiency and creative output.
  • Advocate for customer‑centric storytelling rooted in insight, empathy, and Fluke’s brand purpose.
