About The Position

Omelet, an award-winning, independent creative agency with a growing and exciting client roster, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated, multidisciplinary Copywriter for its Hollywood headquarters location. You are a conceptual Copywriter who is passionate and driven to make work people will talk about. You’re nimble, curious, entrepreneurial, and collaborative in how you solve creative challenges. You are a student of trends in culture, media, and technology, and relish in finding inventive uses of media to tell stories. You especially have an interest in the future of social media and harnessing AI in innovative, creative and responsible ways. Every assignment, big or small, is an opportunity to create something special for yourself and for your clients. We are a hybrid office. Candidates must be living in Los Angeles and able to commute to the Hollywood area 2x a week

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, specifically with copy and scripts for digital and social media
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a creative group to conceptualize, brainstorm, and deliver on new ideas
  • Some production and post-production experience including but not limited to social, digital, film or experiential
  • You demonstrate a true "AI curious" mindset, and are comfortable and experienced in leveraging AI tools (including LLMs, image, video & music generations) and are excited to learn new ones.
  • Social media and internet obsessed - you can spot and understand trends, participate or observe most platforms and have a digital-first mindset
  • Comfortable writing in multiple styles and for various formats and channels
  • Ability to deliver “on-brand” copy and concept, and experience supporting a brand long term
  • Ability to clearly articulate and sell your ideas with conviction and reason to your internal team and clients
  • A true multitasker - you can manage and prioritize multiple work streams

Responsibilities

  • Working cross functionally, you will develop and execute marketing, content and communication ideas.
  • Partnering with creative leadership to tell powerful stories in a variety of formats
  • Developing multiple campaigns across a variety of platforms
  • Concepting and executing on digital, social, broadcast, and OOH.
  • Interpret a creative brief independently and with curiosity.
  • Able to amend and redevelop campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director and/or client
