Responsibilities

• Search and prepare reports on copyright registrations and recordings.
• Provide in-person research guidance to users in the Reading Room.
• Review incoming requests and prepare cost estimates for sectional services.
• Independently prepare comprehensive reports on research findings related to copyright law.
• Evaluate expedited search requests based on established criteria.
• Communicate information regarding copyright inquiries through various methods.
• Instruct clients on reference techniques and the use of catalogs and databases.
• Estimate fees for searches and explain fee services to clients.
• Maintain and report equipment problems in the Reading Room.
