About The Position

Drive Social Media is one of the fastest-growing advertising technology companies in the country. Born out of necessity to provide the best return on investment for our partners, Drive has developed a cloud-based advertising management platform to achieve better campaign results and transparency while improving advertising efficiencies to stimulate revenue growth. As an intern at Drive Social Media, you'll embark on a transformative journey within a collaborative and rapidly expanding advertising agency. Over the course of this structured 10-12 week program, you'll delve into meaningful projects under industry experts' guidance, fostering personal and professional growth. The internship offers a holistic learning experience, providing opportunities to gain insights into Drive Social Media's business operations, refine presentation skills, master business analysis, hone problem-solving abilities, and appreciate the pivotal role of customer service in a dynamic environment. Alongside hands-on experience, interns will participate in roundtable discussions covering diverse business and leadership topics, engage in professional development activities, benefit from mentorship, and culminate their experience with a final presentation to Drive's leadership team.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be able and available to work full-time during the duration of the program: June 2, 2025 through August 8, 2025, at our St. Louis, MO location.
  • Currently enrolled as a rising Junior or Senior in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited university - in a Marketing/Communications, Creative Writing/English, or related program.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (preferred)
  • Proficient in SEO optimization.
  • Strong creative vision and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Google Suite.

  • Exceptional communication skills; verbal, non-verbal, and written, with the ability to tailor a conversation or a request to each unique individual (clients and employees alike) to achieve a desired outcome.
  • Stay current with the latest social media trends and written content best practices.
  • Responds to feedback promptly and works within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal partners to brainstorm copy that aligns with campaign goals, target audiences, and current search algorithms.
  • Create content for various platforms, including social media posts, website pages, blog articles, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure all copy is free of grammatical errors, typos, and inconsistencies.
  • Refine copy for clarity, conciseness, and style.
  • Learn and implement basic Search Engine Optimization techniques within written content.
  • Gather information on industry trends, target audiences, and competitors.
