About The Position
The Copyright Administration Specialist, reporting to the Copyright Administration Manager, will liaise directly with TuneCore artists and our legal team for all issues related to rights assertion, and help resolve ownership disputes, DMCA claims, and other legal issues related to copyright and intellectual property. They will be responsible for executing the day-to-day operations of the Copyright Administration team, and work collaboratively with TuneCore’s Staff Attorneys, Artist Support, Publishing Administration, Fraud, and Content Review & Rights Administration teams to ensure the legitimacy of our clients’ copyrights. The ideal candidate has an intermediate understanding of DMCA laws and a basic understanding of mechanical licensing, and other common music licenses. They also have strong written communication and organizational skills.
