About The Position

Copy Print Service Specialist - Baltimore, MD (FT) IST Management Services is sourcing for a direct hire, permanent, full-time, copy-print service specialist position in Baltimore, MD. This position will work full time hours per day in a print production environment. IST is a rapidly growing business process outsourcing (BPO) company and the largest American privately-owned facilities management company. Founded in 1997, the company is a two-time recipient of the Human Resources Professional Excellence Award granted by the Society for Human Resource Management. This is a full time direct hire position handling package services and mail services as well as supervision of our on-site team. We observe a business professional dress code. NOTE: This position requires at least 2 years experience in heavy volume copy - print production

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Two years experience in heavy volume copy - print production operations
Color and B&W copy/wide format/binding/folding equipment experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and familiarity with computer basics is preferred; Ability to communicate both verbally and written with customers and other employees both one-on-one and during meetings
Knowledge and application of printing concepts. Understand imposition, mail merge, finishing, binding and shipping
Strong analytical and math skills
Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems; Must have customer service skills and be able to maintain a consistent, high level of service; Must have the ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities
A valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation to and from work
Lifting up to 55 pounds; standing for long periods of time; significant walking; Willingness to cross-train for other job functions

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain digital printing equipment daily, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
Adhere to strict standard procedures of production to guarantee accuracy in production
Communicate effectively and continuously practices good listening with customers, co-workers, vendors, and leadership
Takes ownership of customers' print problems and offers viable solutions
Manages the logistics of small to medium projects, follows through to completion, and updates all parties as needed
Preflight, proof, and updates materials for print projects using Adobe and Microsoft Suites for PC
Prioritizes and optimizes the workload to streamline the production flow as well as ensure all printed materials meet quality standards and deadlines
Frequently multi-tasks while maintaining extreme attention to detail and high-quality control
Knowledge of Firey Command Workstation and Impose as well as Creo Print control
Ability to service a fleet of copiers to replace toner/paper & supplies and call copiers in for service
